Fred and Caleb at the Snow Shoot. Looks
cold!

Caleb won the High Junior Shooter
Award. Congratulations Caleb!

Before the battle we met Fred Bahlau,
who was in H Company, 506th Parachute Infantry, 101st Airborne division
during WWII. He jumped in Normandy on D-Day and fought with the 101st
through the end of the war. Here he is holding Rob's Thompson
Sub-machine gun, a weapon he carried during the war. It was an honor
and a privilege to meet him and hear some of his experiences. It was on
his property that "Operation Nordwind" took place.

Here we are at "Operation Nordwind"
with Nook and his Paras. This was a great event with lots of action and
a fully functional MG 42 which, though we didn't know it at the time of
this photo, we were about to face.

25-26 July, 2009.
This was a
great event and the first time at Memorial Park.

In the Higgins boat on the way to the beach
during Veterans Weekend 2009. 5th Rangers were the port side stick,
I&R platoon was stbd
side stick. Keith led us down the ramp into hip
deep water and a 75 yard slog to the beach.

Lance, Mike, Paul, John, and Rob after the Marine landing at the "Lest
We Forget" event in St Joe, MI, 19-21 June, 2009. We are
part of B Co.1st Marines, 1st Marine Division (reenacted). Keith, our
squad leader, was also here but not pictured.

This is actually from the 2008 "Lest We Forget" event at St Joe, and
was only the first
wave of Marines.

Rob rips off a burst from his Thompson in 2008.

This was one of those serendipitous moments where everything goes
right.
John leads Dan and Paul out, under the covering
fire of the rest of the platoon, to take the final bunker. Little did
we know that John Madill of the Herald-Palladium
Newspaper was filming the action and even less did we expect to see
this picture on the front page the next morning.
But there it was.

Rob and Keith holding the line at the CP during "Delay the Inevitable"
at Fort Custer, March, 2009. The unit wore Airborne '43s and
Rob has the BAR. This was a "RETO" tactical battle put on by Alan
Miltich and was a great event.

The Rat Patrol! We set out on the first mission of the day at "Delay
the Inevitable" to find a stretcher and carry one of the referees back
to the CP.

Women love Paratroopers! Mike and Rob Wall escorting two lovely young
ladies.
